VIRTUAL ACTIVITY IN ESTONIA "Using educational robots with young children – Ozobot, Sphero Bolt, Dash&Dot"
26.-28.05.2021
Estonian team organised training for all partners in May 2021. Training was virtual and lasted three days. We focused on the use of educational robot Ozobot in class. We chose Ozobot because it was great to learn and share experiences about it online. Parners also got an overview about Dash&Dot and Sphero Bolt educational robots.
We also used many digital tools that are great for online collaborative learning - Google Jamboard, Flinga, Kahoot, Padlet. You can find the detailed information below. |
DAY ONE (26.05)
We kicked the day off with a greeting video. In this video you can see all the STEAM tools we have been trained about during this project. Have a look:
We shared our experience using Dash&Dot educational robot. 6 year old children are using Dash in this video.

This animation is called "Dash's birthday" and features Dash and another educational robot: Qobo Snail. Children made the animation with the help of their teacher.

We also shared our experiences with the educational robot Sphero Bolt. Not all partners have that robot, but it is a great and versitile tool. This time we used videos and ideas from online recourses (video credits to Honestips). |

First training day was finished with positive feedback. This is one more fun tool to use in online trainings - Flinga.fi, that enables to collaborate in digital way.
